We sell Pheasant, Quail and Chukar in South Central Kansas and offer quality bred upland game birds for hunts and bird dog training!

Though our construction business keeps us busy, you can rest assured that our birds are well cared for! Our flight ready birds are perfect for an exciting hunt with friends, colleagues or guided hunts. We also sell to a lot of folks who need to re-populate the birds on their land.

These are usually birds that come straight out of the breeder house so they are mature enough to be released into the wild with a fighting chance, but still young enough to have minimal human dependence interaction. We are even offering small quantities of processed game birds for those who want to stick it in the oven and have a feast!

Adult game birds can only be picked up at our farm in Princeton, MN. Using a crate that is designed for gamebirds is the best option for transporting our pheasants and chukars. If you do not have an appropriate clean and empty gamebird crate, we can put the birds into onion bags, which are a temporary transport to get you where you are going.

Although our hatchery and the subsequent shipping of hundreds of thousands of day old pheasants and chukars is a major part of our business, Oakwood also raises approximately 75, pheasants and 30, chukar partridge to maturity each year.
